My Story is I was Born Knowing ~

I was Born Knowing in 1951 – this was a life changing moment for me in many ways. At age 4 is when I met my spiritual team of Guardian Angels and Spirit Guides. There are 5 and to me the number 5 today is affirmation that this was to be life changing for me. From the moment we moved in here I knew deep within that I could hear spirit, I could hear, see, know and feel them to each becoming my best friends.

The next life changing moment came when my Dad’s older brother passed away so suddenly in a construction accident. I was 8. Standing in the kitchen a favorite place to hang out with my Mom. Dad comes in the back door, Mom goes to him asking him what was wrong, to me then seeing my Uncle standing right next to me asking me where his pie and coffee were, to me saying, Uncle Roy it is Wednesday, not Sunday so no pie or coffee. Then my Mom hearing me asking me who I was having a conversation with, I said Uncle Roy, to then she says, go to your room. So Uncle Roy and I headed to our room, for I shared the room with my Sister. Mom later comes in as she still hears me in conversation wondering who I am speaking to, I tell her again, Uncle Roy. I said Mom, he is sitting right here and we are having a conversation and he wants to know where his pie and coffee are. She went white, you cannot be talking to him, he died this morning. I than looked at Uncle Roy and he said I guess so. I don’t feel dead though. I see you and you see me and we are having a conversation, so why can’t your Mom or Dad see me, I said I don’t know but we will figure this out together. So I said no more. The day of his funeral one of his daughters came to stay with my Brother, Sister and I as we were told you are too young to go and you want to remember Uncle Roy the way he was. His daughter during her time with us looked at me and said, you see him don’t you, I nodded afraid to speak, and she said it is okay this is between you and me as I see him too. This was a life changing moment for me, and to then being told to keep quiet, don’t tell or share these things so to say, I only kept quiet and to myself, and I was good at keeping secrets.

My Spirit Friends & Angels we played together as I learned to use my dolls and animals and created voices for each of them so we could have conversations, and I would read them stories, and each would say, you have to keep quiet for now, however, as you get older you won’t have to as you are becoming.

Progress forward to high school – 1967 and into a new school, sophomore year, and 2 weeks into the year I am waiting for my Mom to get off work as she worked in the office. I am standing at the counter and in walks a student, his name is Bob and I looked at him and knew that he would die the next day in a car accident. I froze as I knew I could not share any of this after the experience with my Uncle. He wanted to speak to my Mom and she took one look at me and I said, I need the keys to the car, I will wait for you in the car and quickly left. Yes he did die the next day, yes along with one of my classmates who in Math class always made me laugh and was my new best friend, Bruce passed in the same accident. I was heartbroken as Bruce was my first friend in my new school. My Mom pulled me out of class and into the office to give me the news. She then asked I wanted to go home as she would have Dad come and get me and I said NO I will stay in school. For me being in school helped me get through the day until Math class and I no longer had my best friend sitting next to me. I made it through the day, not sure exactly how I made it but I did. English class was a whole new story as my English teacher, very intuitive, psychic, new what I was feeling and when class was over she asked me if I wanted to talk about things, I said, no and politely left the classroom. She immediately went to my Mom. Never did find out what the teacher said to her nor does it matter now.

At that moment I had already made the vow at 8 that I would keep things to myself and when I reached the age where I didn’t have to keep things quiet any longer I would come out of the closet and explore more and find answers to what I later learned were my spiritual gifts. 

1970 – For my Birthday my Brother gave me my first Tarot Card Deck, Sasha Fenton complete with the book. I would pick up the deck, then the book, then back to the deck and I am saying not yet. First and what is important is this deck would make me nauseated beyond what I can say. I eventually let it go as it simply did not ever resonate with me.

In 1975 my Mom and I moved from Salt Lake City to Denver. As my Mom traveled a lot for her job, I was home alone and needed to find something to do. I was invited to take a class on Astrology. When the Astrology teacher read my chart I was so fascinated in all she had to say, you are so intuitive, gifted and your gifts are more than those of your Mother and your Sister. I went like what? She also said I had already met my future husband and the marriage would be a test of strength for me. I had no idea who it might be, yet held my faith in that what I know would be meant to be I would always remember her words. I studied for the rest of the time while in Colorado. In 1977 my Mom and I decided we had enough of Colorado and were coming back to Salt Lake. 

In 1979 the Astrology Teacher’s prediction came true. Yes I did know my future husband as we worked together where I worked while living in Colorado. He had since divorced. So from November, 1979 until I had enough of the abuse in 1981 when I filed for divorce, I lived in a nightmare to my parents coming to save me, yes literally three times in that short lived marriage. Was this a test of my strength, faith, and wanting to live, yes.

In July, 1987, my sister and I decided to go to a card reader. When we walked into our appointment, she said to me, I have to read you first. Then told my sister to wait in her living room.

She read me first as she told me I have a message for you that your sister is not ready to hear or will she understand. You are very gifted and I need to tell you before I read your cards that you know your Mother will pass early next year. It is her time and she will prepare you. I was like okay this makes sense as you have now given me validation of the dreams I have been having. 

I met my second husband in September, 1987 and I kept telling myself I would not marry again. My Mother said he is the right one for you. WRONG… I kept telling myself something was off, yet Mom kept saying you don’t know what you are saying. I kept quiet as I knew I would not win the arguments with her. So yes, we married in February, 1988. I should have run… and run quickly away as even Dad supported me. So comes a short six weeks later…

On April 2, 1988, 6:30am my Mother passed and I wake up to see her standing at the foot of our bed. She said I told you last night in our last conversation that it was my time to go. She said you need to be fully awake as I have things to tell you before your Dad calls you. This moment will stay with me always.

1988 – 1997 - During the first six months my Mom visited me often, with messages and insightful information on how to heal our family lineages. The process began with Forgiveness of everyone, so for nine months I wrote letters to every, those living to those who had passed. Forgiveness is a practice I follow to this day, as the importance is also in forgiveness of self.

I really feel like my life is an adventure in not only being Born Knowing, this is about the unraveling all the pieces and parts of me like a puzzle to me putting ME back together in remembering who I am and who I came here to be.. 

In August, 1988 became a moment and I say in gratitude to my neighbor for guiding my path, her name is Viola, and she asked me to go to a Tarot class. She said to me, I know you are supposed to go with me will you? I said oh, yes, I have been waiting for this opportunity for a long time. This became to me a big moment of and really coming out and learning Tarot. My teacher- her name is Leslie Morley. 

I continued to doing card readings for friends, co-workers and acquaintances. I had a difficult time accepting the money as it simply didn’t feel right to me.

In 1997–2014- I found Doreen Virtue and started following her through Hay House. I learned a lot from her and followed her until she found her new path. My first Angel deck was her Healing with the Angels. This deck is a treasure to me and has helped me in healing of what I went through as a child to adulthood. I found this deck in a visit to a local bookstore. Then I went about looking at all Hay House offering in spiritual studies, to Angels. 

I took all of her classes that could as I needed something to do and I wanted to learn as much as I could. All I learned evolved over time and in the many years when Hay House announced a new course of hers, I would decide if I should take it or not. I believe Doreen is one of those that appeared when the student was ready or as some say, when the teacher is ready the student appears. It doesn’t matter how we found each other only that my journey and purpose is better because of her. 

1997 was another life changing moment for me as my husband passed away (1/6/1997), once more feeling like everything turned upside down. This moment gave me more as in May he visited me showing me where he wanted his ashes and on what day, his birthday, 9/17, he would have been 50. I then began trying to put everything together to make it happen. The vision some would say dream, became a reality on this day and yes it happened exactly as he had shown me.

I was then guided to Rosemary Altea, 1997, and her book The Eagle and The Rose. I had a big woo woo experience with this book. I could always hear the voices of my Angels and Guides and this book brought me a gift I will always treasure. 

Mediumship kept popping up for me and I honor and respect all Mediums, some yes are better than others to the ones I follow are John Edward to and John Holland. John Edward first as I watched his crossing over starting in 1997, to then since seeing him in person, and no I have not yet had a reading from him maybe someday.

1997 – I began the journey with Hay House to looking at all Doreen Virtue’s courses, books, cards and enjoyed all she was doing. During this time I kept busy. Later when she began her journey with Radleigh Valentine I took that course – CACR, to one where she introduced Radleigh Valentine, Robert Reeves, and her son Charles Virtue. That was so much fun and I kept telling myself I need to look into each of them.

In 2014 however, Hay House was doing a course with John Holland, of which the giveaway to one participant would receive a reading. My father was very ill, and on the day of his last class was the day my father passed away. He announced the winner and no I was in grief and not present. Then 3 weeks later I received the email notifying me I was the winner, and yes, I will also say, it was my Mother who told me to take the course and that there would be a surprise. Yes me winning which was huge for me as I had not expected this. So on February 5, 2015 I received the reading from John Holland to his first words were, I would not have picked you, those words ring for me. To then I was about to say, notify Hay House to pick someone else, and before I could he said, that is so wrong of me, let’s start over. Dad came booming in and held the time we had together. It was awesome.

1997 – 2014 - I then took the opportunity to read all of Doreen’s books, purchased all of her cards to then while in one of her online classes I found Radleigh Valentine, Robert Reeves, Charles Virtue and have since found many others. I created a separate document that lists all of the studies I have done with these many wonderful teachers and mentors. 

In 2017 I went to Denver to meet Radleigh for his Angel Oracle Certification which was life changing for me as I had wanted to meet him for a long time and as I can say the magic really began to unfold for me.

2022 - Then last year another magical Radleigh moment as I went to Tampa, FL to once again be in the magical bubble with Radleigh. Tampa brought out more for me in gifts that I had yet to know I could learn as Radleigh teaches you don’t know you cannot do something unless you try. 

I first want to say here, do not wait your entire life to come out of the closet. Listen to your own heart, listen to the whispers and don’t wait like I had to do. This journey for me is a lifetime, a lifeline as I am 73, and looking at my timeline, 56 years is a long while to step into path and purpose. I also want to say, my parents were afraid and in such fear of who I am and what I would say, that once I turned 18 I found my voice, I knew when to share and when not to. Trust in you, talk to your Angels and Guides and trust God, Source, Creator and the Divine to lead you, and guide you to path and purpose.
