~ JULY SPARKLES MEETS SOLITUDE ~
Hello July -
As June has come and gone, and as I sit within or shall I say go within to my peaceful happy place I first say, I am grateful to Jerry, the love of my life, the ONE who sparkles and shines as his baby blue eyes show a bit of fun, laughter, humor, a bit of mischief, and a quiet yet gentle spirit.
Jerry is the sparkle in all he says and does. I sometimes say to myself, WOW, he knows me and he gets me. Yes this is Jerry a wise man and a loving and caring man. One who loves unconditionally and loves with a pure and open heart.
Yes, Jerry is one of a kind. He shows compassion when compassion is needed. He listens when one is going through who knows what. Then to hear him talk about his morning routine and ‘Coffee with Richard’.
Jerry wakes up and goes out turns on the coffee pot for himself and Richard. Then Jerry goes out and feeds the birds and the squirrels. Then he goes out and meets Richard in the driveway sitting in their chairs, summer time it is on the east side of the street (Richards driveway) and then they sit and have their morning talk about one thing or another and then they each go on about their day.
I look at Jerry’s routine and say to myself this is why Jerry has such warmth, kindness, and peace that radiates out for all to witness and with a smile, a soft Hello, and compassion. This is Jerry’s routine and why his neighbors all wave and know there isn’t one that he would do something for by asking.
I am grateful to Jerry and Love you Jerry to the Moon and back and beyond.
